THE NATIONAL BOARD OF REVIEW NAMES THEIR PICKS FOR THE BEST OF 2004

They’re not critics and very few, if any, have movie-related jobs. Yet when the anonymous members of the New York-based National Board of Review of Motion Pictures announce their top picks of the year, people in the film industry, from studio chiefs to indie distributors, take notice.
