THE GOLDEN GLOBES FOR THE BEST OF 2004...A PICTURE PUZZLEMENT!

It would take a master detective to figure out who the 83 freelance and full-time journalists in control of Hollywood's Foreign Press Association actually are. Nor can anyone I know explain how Annette Bening, Emily Rossum, Kate Winslet, Renee Zellweger and Ashley Judd (!) ended up competing for the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy category (and never mind that Jamie Foxx's powerful dramatic performance in "Ray" was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy).
