THE LOS ANGELES CRITICS WERE OUT FOR ANDERSON'S ‘BLOOD’

Director Paul Thomas Anderson struck a gusher at the recent meeting of the Los Angeles Film Critics Assn. “There Will Be Blood,” his adaptation of Upton Sinclair’s 1927 novel about greed, corruption and lust for oil, swept away not one but four awards, including that for Best Picture of 2007.
